Sustained Investigation Question Project #1-                                        Mary Elise Krasovec

For my Sustained Investigation question I chose to do," What if humans had supernatural powers?" I first wanted to chose a power to create inspiration from, so I chose go with the water as the power for this project. I started out my finding a photo of girl with her hands in front of her face. 

Next I wanted to find a background that was vibrant with colors, and looked like it just rained.

After this I went, and added detail to her eyes and face to go along more with the theme of supernatural powers. I then wanted to make it look like it was rain was suspended in the air, so I went and edited/selected individual rain drops to achieve this. After selected the raindrops I then went in, and adjusted the colors of the raindrops to a variation of a blue color.

Lastly I wanted to create water spirals coming out of the subjects hands to look like she can control water. I did this by edit the color adjustments, and then using the smudge tool to make the water spirals look more realistic. The Final Product is down below....
